Hi, I’m Liv!
I’m a licensed cosmetologist and color specialist with over 10 years of experience behind the chair. I started my career in California in 2015 and eventually made my way to Arizona, where I’ve continued doing what I love most: creating hair that feels like you.
Color has always been my favorite part of hair. I love the creative side of it, but I also really enjoy the problem-solving that comes with it. Whether we’re working toward a bright, vivid transformation, a dimensional blonde, a lived-in color, or simply trying to figure out why your hair isn’t doing what you want it to do, I genuinely enjoy the process of figuring it out.
Your Hair’s Health Comes First
One thing I will always prioritize is the health and integrity of your hair. I love a good transformation, but I don’t believe getting the look you want should come at the expense of destroying your hair to get there. Sometimes that means taking a little more time, changing the game plan, or doing something different than what we originally had in mind. And sometimes, it means I have to tell you no.
I know that isn’t always the answer a client wants to hear, but I would rather be honest with you than promise something I don’t believe your hair can safely handle. I’m always going to be straightforward about what I think is realistic, what your hair needs, and what it will take to get you where you want to be. If I don’t think something is a good idea for your hair, I’ll tell you why and we’ll figure out what is possible.
A Stylist for All Textures
My specialty is creative color and blonding, but I’m not a stylist who only wants to do one type of hair. I work with all kinds of textures, lengths, and styles, including curly and wavy hair, short cuts, long hair, undercuts, and everything in between. I believe a good haircut and color should work with your hair rather than constantly fighting against it.
Come As You Are
I also believe that your appointment should feel comfortable and collaborative. You don’t need to know all the hair terminology or come in with a perfectly formed plan. Bring me your inspiration photos, tell me what you like (or really don’t like), and we can figure out the rest together.
My goal isn’t to give everyone the same “perfect” hair. I want to create hair that fits you, your lifestyle, and how much (or how little) effort you actually want to put into it, while keeping your hair as healthy as possible along the way.
